Pink is in!

Pink is in, both in fashion and interiors. According to the Wall Street Journal - When the financial crisis hit last fall, just as clothing designers were selling their fall ready-to-wear collections to stores, the runways were full of black, gray and brown, with swatches of blue. The style world's creative types set to work immediately to come up with a new style equation. Six months later -- wham! The colors -- zany, cartoonish hues that also include neon orange and yellow -- are bold enough to induce an adrenalin rush.

These gorgeous fabrics definitely put me in a more optimistic mood.

Another stunning day calls for another delightful wallpaper. This is an award winning design by Coles, first designed in 1755! It's an all time favourite with us here. 

Swedish style

Loving Sandberg's Gloria collection. It's so fresh and fun. It's supposedly inspired by hand-painted porcelain and has a floral vine that gives walls a billowy, climbing look. 

I heart colour!

Wow, what a gorgeous day! Just had lunch in the park. Love that everyone is out in their summer brights. Just inspired me to show you some of the gorgeous summer fabric collections. We're especially loving Lorca's new Tanjore collection. It's a fantastic mix of linens, silks and wools all in the most magnificent colours. The colours are so rich and sumptuous, they put me in a good mood immediately!

Welcome interior design enthusiasts to my new blog! This is my idea for the summer to try and keep our website as up to date as poss. I promise to provide short updates on new fabrics, wallpapers, designs and anything else that may be of interest to our visitors.  Let's hope I manage to keep my promise :)
